Two men accused of trying to cash a fake $100,000 lottery ticket faced a judge today.Odis Latham, 47, and Russell Sparks, 48, both of Columbus faced a Rankin County judge Tuesday. Both suspects pleaded not guilty.Get more news about 包网公司,you can vist nb68.com

Latham was given a bond of $51,000 and Sparks was given a $20,000 bond.

Sparks is due in court Thursday for his preliminary hearing.

Flowood police arrested Odis Latham, 47, and Russell Sparks, 48, both of Columbus Monday and charged them with Conspiracy to Commit and Uttering Counterfeit Instrument over $1,000.The would-be crooks used super glue to attach winning numbers to a losing ticket and tried to cash it in Monday at the Mississippi Lottery office in Flowood, authorities said.

Lottery officials called Flowood police and stalled the culprits until officers arrived and arrested them, authorities said.

Trying to cash a counterfeit lottery ticket is a crime punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
